I swept last night,
two hours by three periods.

It was a grand night
not a breath of air,
not a fringe of a cloud,
all clear, all beautiful.

Sept. 18th.
While sweeping.

to my surprise
two nebulae appeared to be three
in Ursa Major
I watched without cessation,
and was quite sure
its position had changed
Was it a comet?
Or was it a fine night?

Oct 1st.
The comet looked upon us.
Look!
Looking sunny and bright.
